Chuckie Are You Serious

So the owner of the Rockies seems to think that if the Boston would agree to 6 more games they would win all of them. He has the Cohones to say we was the better team. Wait a minute would the better team been swept in 4 straight. I don't thinks so Chuckie. The Red Sox beat you in every aspect of the game. They out pitched, hit, and threw you. Look I will give you that you had a great streak, but all streak must come to an end. Look If you are honest with yourself, you had a little luck on your side. Once you leave Denver, no one can name more than two men on your team, yet you did get yourself to the World Series. Yes you deserved it, you beat the teams on front of you, and you beat them in streaks. You had a great streak, but sorry Chuckie the best team won.

The Boston Red Sox have been compared to the Yankees, sorry that is not quite right either. The 94 team was alot better and would win against this team. Not taking anything away from the Sox. The only thing I wish was different was that it went to game five. I would have loved to seen Josh Beckett win five games in the post season. This guy was absolutely lights out and deserved to win the post season MVP. The man is awesome and a nasty, and I mean a nasty breaking ball. Then we have the Freak of nature, Papalbon, yes a freak of nature. He goes out and powers everything he throws past you. There is nothing they can do but to swing at air in the post season. The Red Sox took it easy on him all year. Did not use him anymore than they felt needed. It proved to help. The guy was lights out in the post season. Forget about all the dances and other antics, the guy is great. Throwing 95 mph plus, no wait a minute, throwing fastballs right up your backside. More commonly known as your ass.

Watching this series did you get the feeling that Boston was merely playing cat and mouse with the poor Rockies. They let them get close a couple of times only to punish them later. Look at game 5, they pulled within one and then the Red Sox blowed them away again. Papalbon walked one and then let them get a hit, only to shut out the rest of them. Is it me or was the merely screwing with them to give them a hint, that they had a chance at this?

Nonetheless Boston wins and game over. Congrats Boston and already tired of seeing you in the post season.

yay, a sports blog.. thanks!

I freakin LOVE watching Pap pitch! He is intense, amazing and definately the best closer in the game right now(sorry MO).

That being said, I'm actually not a Sox fan but I do believe they were the better team and deserved to win the Series. I also think they're gonna keep getting better and be a force to be reckoned with next year.
